Uncontrollable Risk

Uncontrollable risks were risks that are outside of GPAM or investor control. This risks are like the bankrupt of the country where the broker was, or even the bankrupt of the broker, etc.

Some of that uncontrollable risks can still be managed, that are country-related and broker-related risk.

Country-related Risk

Some of important things that we must concern in choosing a country of broker are the law system and economic condition of that country. That country must have a good law enforcement system and a stable economic condition.

For understanding about the economic condition of one country, we could refer to country credit ratings that were issued by a credible institution in the world like S&PFitch Ratings or Moody's.

Based on that credit ratings, we found that there are few countries that has a stable economic condition, but between them, only Switzerland and Australia who are known has having a well-known broker.

Broker-related Risk

Broker that we chosen must be a legal institution and authorized by the financial authority in it's country. Financial authority in Switzerland was FINMA, and in Australia was ASIC.

Beside the legality of a broker, cost of transaction and trading platform also become a concern. BabyPips give us this guidance in choosing a broker.

Base on that things, GPAM choose Dukascopy Bank SA from Switzerland, AxiTrader or Pepperstone from Australia as it's broker.
